got to batangas fine...much faster than expected in fact: 2 hours instead of 3. when i got to the pier, i found out that the next ride to wawa (abra de ilog) wasn't til 11:30. dah. so i decided to pick another place. realizing that a 11 hour boatride to san jose wasnt up my alley, i decided maybe it was better to just go to sabang. i think it's okay. i found a place at about 1000 pesos a night, which i think is expensive, but it's quite nice. tomorrow, i think ill move to a cheaper place i found and start with the dive classes. it's 300 USD for classes at the VIP dive shop. hopefully i can pay later because im going to have to boat to batangas again for more money. cash advance charges about 7-8% fee, which is highly unacceptable. we'll see. you can do a "fun dive" to see if you like it, which is probably a good idea given my gumo-ness (meaning fickle-ness). anywho, i didnt come here to live in the internet cafe, and im all done with my delicious mango smoothie, so im out of here. oooh, they have a PRINTER! laters-
